Steve Roy, President and Founder

For more than two decades, Steve has been on the frontlines of the telecommunications management and technology fields. He has led strategy and implementation projects for Global 2000 enterprises and leading telecom suppliers in Asia, Europe and North America.

Steve is responsible for setting Telecom Buyer's strategy and leading business development. In the past 4 years, he has personally helped 100s of businesses procure and manage their voice, Internet and wide area network services.

Steve was a Partner at B2B CFO/CIO, LLP providing telecom and IT management services for medium sized businesses. Companies hire a B2B CIO on an as-needed basis for a few hours a month or several days per week.

He was Director of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) consulting for Amdocs, one of the world's largest telecommunications billing and customer management companies.

Steve launched the mobile and wireless B2B ecommerce practice for Collaborex, a start-up professional services company based in Fairfax Virginia.

He built and led the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) consulting team for Metapath Software International (MSI) in the US and Europe. MSI was later acquired by Marconi Corporation plc.

During the 1990s, Steve was based in Singapore and led telecom strategy and corporate finance enagements for Arthur D. Little (ADL) clients in Asia and Europe.

Steve started his telecommunications career with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) where he led development of the customer care and billing system for a long distance reseller that launched soon after the AT&T divesture.

He holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado in Boulder, a Professional Desiignation in Systems Programming from the University of California in Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Northrop University.

Steve has a broad professional network and welcomes opportunities to exchange referrals with CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, IT directors, corporate telecom managers, call center operators, network equipment and telephone system suppliers, computer and network support companies, software firms, systems integrators and management consultants.
